Tony and Milly live were a discovery for me in 2018. To then hit a pandemic, stopping us all going out to gigs was a blow; I’m still wary of gigging. The lockdown sessions on FB were part of what kept me and plenty of others going. As a band, they won (if music is a competition). This album is anything but perfect, but that’s the beauty of live music. I love the album, and the mix of the voices is glorious. It’s only a matter of time before I see Tony and Milly play live, in the flesh.
